My heart broke after I was left with a “Glam was the catalyst” for a BigHit implosion. I don’t want them to have that burden.

@pixelcats I also have to mention that I had a jaw drop moment when I learned that HYYH was also "In the Mood for Love". I love the movie, it's one of the good memories left from my failed marriage, and I felt like it was a fated connection for me to find a link between that story and the one that was being created in the BU.
@pixelcats I was lucky enough to stumble right into HYYH when I started listening to BTS's music, like, it took me a while to separate the ideas of the BU and its cast of characters vs the actual Tannies, but. The music and the feelings were lush and gorgeous and like nothing I had ever heard before. I wanted to hear so much more, after sitting with the EPs and the compilation album.
And it really would be wrong if we didn't share the Blog Post for Born Singer, which starts this chapter. Chills!

I got into BTS in 2019, but I distinctly remember looking into the Harlem Shake dance craze before that year, and yes, I ran into this infamous video while I was tooling around on the Internet! The bit I appreciate the most is the examination of their 'Self-Produced Content era.
As an internet nerd, I worked on a few very fringe web-based productions back during that time, so I really appreciate how groundbreaking Bangtan was in the Kpop industry.
And of course, like so many Baby Army, Run BTS was critical to the process of learning their names and characters.
