I like to call this game "Schrodinger's camshaft bearing." I don't know if the water was sitting just under the bearings in the crankcase or if the bearings were immersed for several years. Do I: open the engine up to visually assess, or yolo some fuel into that bad boy and see if it goes bang?

This is from my #aircooled #volkswagen #bajabug that sat outside in upstate New York, USA.

A photograph of three clear plastic containers of used motor oil. There is a significant amount of water in the containers, and the motor oil and water have separated into strata.

Class 11 VW Beetle racing in Mexico reminds me of rallying in Ireland when I was growing up. Close community, loads of family and friends helpnig out.

And Baja Bugs are just cool.
