Sir #GylesIsham, 12th #Baronet (31 October 1903 – 29 January 1976) was an English aristocrat, #actor, and #historian.
"It was not until the mid-1950s, by which time he was working as a concrete layer, that it became known that he was a baronet."
Odd sentence from the Wikipedia article on Basil Arthur, who became the youngest MP in New Zealand's 33rd Parliament at the not outstandingly youthful age of 33 years, 306 days.
He remains NZ's oldest ever Baby of the House. The youngest ever is James Stuart-Wortley, elected in 1853 at the age of 20 years, 258 days (too young to vote at that time, let alone be elected). Runner-up and current Baby of the House is Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke (21 years, 18 days).
