Franchement j'ai eu peur d'être cancel, j'ai cru que j'arriverai à mieux jouer la partie basse de The Number Of The Beast de Iron Maiden avec un mediator qu'avec les doigts #basstodon

Me demande pas, à part Give It Away je fais un blocage pour jouer les Red Hot Chili Peppers à la basse. J'y arrive pas, je trouve ça trop dur. Ça me paraît impossible.
Alors que Rage Against The Machine, easy peasy. Même des chansons bien speed de Rancid ou Iron Maiden, avec du boulot ça va. Même des rythmiques un peu chelou de Tool ça va. Mais Flea, je sais pas, ça passe pas.

Another amazing old-time session yesterday at a neighbor's house. I think we had 30 people over the course of a few hours, probably twenty crowded into the living room at one point.

Do other places have an old-time scene with lots of young mostly LGBTQIA people, or is it just Minneapolis? I expect it's the former.

I (washtub player) expressed worry over what if a "real bass" shows up and folks said "well tell 'em we already have a bass player" 🫠

Love this crew. Like, fer real.

Been playing the four string more recently. There are some songs that just need the extra space between the strings (especially since I'm finally learning slap), and this thing resonates like nobody's business.
