okay. our mental health is being affected by this hotel, and so is our physical health because the only furniture they have here are a pair of uncomfortable beds. this place is not safe, and by the end of the month it'll cost us $300 just to pay for two nights.

so there's a very good chance that me and my family were about to be assaulted.

came back from the store and there was someone from outside wandering back and forth around in the hallway talking to himself, and he came damn near close to us as i was opening the door.

and mom could tell he wanted to go in our room and wasn't going to take no for an answer. called the front desk and he was escorted out, but he was definitely angry about it and the fear now is that he'll just come back later because they don't bother to keep an eye on who comes into this place.

this is the third fucking time someone has just helped themselves and wandered in because the ones who run this hotel don't bother to care.

hell, they downplayed a LITERAL SHOOTING and passed it off as a simple argument.

also it's still a HUGE shot in the dark, but i would like to try to raise enough to leave here because by the end of the month the rate here is going to increase enough that at a minimum i'd have to consistently ask for $400 or more just so me and my family could stay safe for a couple of days.

yeah. that's impractical in every sense of the word.

so again if we can get enough to leave and at least pay for a month elsewhere, it would not only be extremely appreciated, but at this point it's also completely necessary. this hotel is getting WAY too expensive and fast.
