Aàaaack! Tip #1 for #Sax reeds should probably be: Don't put them back in those little plastic thingies(particularly the #Vandoren plastic sleeves) as they are seemingly designed to foul edges and tips. Use the soft packages or a reed case. Jay mentions this from a plastic recycling POV but really - don't tear up your reeds regardless !
