In 1981 my squadron sent me to the Raytheon plant in Lowell MA for a 2-week course in radar missile theory and employment. Graduates got these nifty presentation Sparrows, and in return taught what we'd learned to our squadron mates. I bought this Seiko diver #wristwatch off Amazon for $162 in 2015 (it sells for $775 today, probably because it's no longer made and there are only a few left in new condition). It has a self-winding mechanical movement and a screw-down crown to keep water from getting into the works. I looked up some information on its history today. (1/3)
