A key, dark, rural road on my commute is still closed to all traffic for gas main replacement. I think they are trying to send me a message, because today there were five separate road-wide plastic fence barriers within 1500 metres. I carefully opened each one and closed it behind me, but I think I might try an alternative route next time because it was just too slow. 😃 #BikeCommute

1. leafing through old family photos to find some to print and lol at the cuteness,

2. found some photos of all my cats and a silly video, will share in due course,

3. hit a flipping huge pothole, stayed upright (mad skillz), pannier departed bike (straightening a secondary retention carabiner on the way), car drove over pannier, taking it between the wheels, hitting the sump but all the contents including my work laptop, were undamaged. And the bike is okay, just had to straighten out a startled mudguard strut. #BikeCommute

Today's #bikecommute. I wanna say it was fun, but today was incredibly sketchy, thanks to drivers who think squeezing their heavy vehicles into a space where an unprotected cyclist is located is gonna turn out okay. #cycling
