I'm more and more convinced #Bittrex suffered some sort of #leak, with at the very least email addresses being obtained and used in a (quite aggressive) phishing campaing. Hard to believe the email alias I specifcally used for Bittrex simply got guessed.

So, I keep getting #phishing emails for my (now gone) #bittrex account.
The sender has access to (at the very least) to:

- email address
- full name
- KYC (know your customer) details.

The link point to a typo squatting domain.

Of course, I didn't have $12,307.53 in my account 😂

Update 23 November

The most important news this week is the winding down of the Bittrex exchange. Anyone who has MAID on #Bittrex needs to take it off the exchange sooner rather than later.

Other news is that the latest testnet seems to have solved some problems and unearthed others in a one-step-forward-one-step-back kinda style.

Still getting #bittrex #phishing emails. Weird thing real name and (custom) email alias would match Bittrex's. Target would give attacker access to your wallet (and empty it). I wish I had $4.000 waiting for me 🤣

Thing is it not only contains the email alias I use for Bittrex only but it also my actual name.
