It's not yet optimized enough to run the 60 fps patch smoothly on my reasonably beefy rig, but performs well on the game's original 30, with minimal visual glitches.
Being able to mod in auto-refilling blood vials and bullets is such a godsend! Held myself to tying the amount you get back for free to the game's moon phases, so 5 at the beginning, 10 at dusk, 15 at night and 20 after the blood moon rises.

After downloading game saves, I fired up #Bloodbourne and now I have a new axe/pistol character. I had no idea the pistol could parry and the axe can be jammed in afterwards. One shot!

Tuning in to #stateofplay and not expecting much.
I do hope #Sony persist with not saying anything ever about any kind of #Bloodbourne updates.

#BloodBourne update: Father Gascione is down! Only took me two tries, surprisingly. Got lucky with some pistol shots that stunned and let me follow up with a visceral attack. Now enjoying getting my butt kicked by the new monsters in the cathedral.
I think it's the dark souls instincts coming back because I've got my eye open for traps and ambushes and so far I haven't gotten killed by any giant flaming balls. When I let my guard down I'm sure there will be a mimic waiting for me.
#BloodBourne day 2-ish:
Found some real armor and figured out how to raise my stats. After quite a few runs through the intro area I finally opened the first shortcut gate. Woo!
Then after some exploring I managed to bump into two bosses, both of which I was able to take like 1/16th off their life bar before they inevitably murdled me up good. But that's how progress works in Souls-esqe games.
Next time: we do some quick dashes to the boss to figure out its patterns. And die a lot.
Recently entered the #Beta for the new game #TheLastFaith, the full game releasing later this year.
Loaded it on to the #SteamDeck, definitely recommended when it comes out. #SymphonyoftheNight mixed with #Bloodbourne.

I am usually all for more accessibility options and difficulty settings (though I do not like the easy/normal/hard labels) be made available, but FromSoft games exist in such a specific niche that I'm fine with them not adding a way to make the experience less challenging.
Also based on my time with Bloodbourne, the games are not as difficult as games journalist tend to make them sound.
Going to stream some tonight and possibly tomorrow around 8pm eastern time if anyone is interested. Most likely dark souls 3 early dancer challenge with a possibility of bloodborne, monster hunter, or some other shenanigans. Will be drunk and there will be cursing so come along and have a great time as I try to broaden my cursing vocabulary!
