Yesterday I discovered that it is *hard* to sing a melody line while playing washtub bass.

Maybe it's different on the "regular" bass, but using my ears and my whole body to create a single pitch on a string, while simultaneously doing the same thing on *another* melody with my vocal chords... damn near impossible.
