I know it makes me a bit of an outlier as a “Catholic”-leaning #Episcopalian, but I really, deeply love the #BookOfCommonPrayer1979, especially Rite II. It’s the book that brought me to the #Episcopal #Church from my wanderings after a life in #fundamentalism and #evangelicalism. I get why folks want to change things, but I want to express my love for the book and how its words have worked their way into my very being.

Our Flower Guild at Saint John’s Episcopal Cathedral in Denver, Colorado, did a fabulous job of preparing the chancel for our Thanksgiving Day service this morning. Have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
