In other direction... #BlueHillsReservation (also accessible by public transit, I believe).

And one of my favorites, #worldsEnd in #Hingham (a #trusteesOfReservations property). Not sure there's any public transit to it though... (and yeah it's really more a walk than a hike, but still!)

@shoozejim ooh, good point, I love the #MiddlesexFells! They have very great sequence of trails readily accessible via #MedfordMA and #MaldenMA - #HickeyPark has a #BlueBikes station and is about a mile's walk from a trailhead, and #OakGrove isn't that far if you're on the #OrangeLine - Thanks for the reminder, its a good prompt to compile a post of #BostonHikes in a future #BostonWeekend thread :)
