The control console at each monitor allowed you to cycle through the 60 cameras, control the direction of a camera, chat with people at other monitors, or take pictures (which were uploaded to http://RemoteLounge.com).

I even found some photos of a #chiptune show in The Remote Lounge from 2002, featuring #Bubblyfish and #Bitshifter.
