A #ForgeFC fan arrived a little early for the game tomorrow night in #HamOnt in the #ConcacafChampionsCup against #TigresUANL a top #LigaMX side
There will be 500 fans traveling from Monterey to see the game and will be allowed in 1/2 hour before the doors officially open.
I broke down and paid for the club seats with options to sit inside. It could be -15°C at game time. Advantage to the homeside if it is. LFG.
#ForgeFC has announced their Supporter's Kit. This will be an exclusive kit only available to season ticket holders.
Lots of thought has gone into this kit. The kit will be worn a couple of times this year by the players. It is the first time in North America a Supporter's Kit has been launched.

This week David Choinière was annoinced signing with #FCSupra in PQ.
And today we learned Alexander Achinioti Jönsson will leave the team. AAJ has been with Forge since Day 1. More than 220 appearances. Most on the team and I believe the most outfield appearances. Huge number of minutes every year. His super power is defending and not getting a card. Not sure he ever had a red in 7 seasons. Solid in CONCACAF. He will be missed. Thank you Alex.

I refer to #ForgeFC as the ultimate Seven Nation Army squad. They have played teams from Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Guatemala as well as Canadian sides. Interestingly, they have never played a competitive match on US soil against an American team. As the draw wound down it looked like they may have scored #LAFC. A visit from Son and Hugo would have been fun.

Not a great surprise but #ForgeFC og player David Choinière is leaving. 7 incredible seasons. Some top goals against #CONCACAF teams, including #CruzAzul at the #Azteca. 2 game winning goals in Canadian Championships. Great player. He will be missed. He wil probably surface with #FCSupra in #Montreal. Merci David.

This takes away some of the sting of losing Valour FC.
Now it's just Atlantic Canada without a League 1. If all goes well, every province from Quebec to BC (inclusive) will have a pro-am league in the future.
People often complained about Forge's dominance, and how it's bad for the league, but quite frankly, Valour FC's empire of the wooden spoon is much worse.

Some discussion going on about how to handle the #CanChamp now that the #MLS season is going to be changing and TFC/CFM/VWC be on a different cycle than #CanPL and the League1s.
Perhaps, if MLS has decided to consider the Canadian teams as "Domestic" American teams, the rest of us should consider doing the same and no longer have them in the national championship?
I had this kind of phantom limb thing watching last night's #CanPL final.
