The Throne of Charlemagne is located in Aachen Cathedral in Germany. The Cathedral was built on the orders of the first Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne who was buried there in 814. In 1978, it was one of the first 12 places to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
