Because it always brings me a certain rhythmic peace, Bob Marley’s bedroom at Nine Mile, St. Ann’s Parish, Jamaica. The other majorly cool thing there is the “meditation stone” that Bob used just outside the small house. It’s painted red, yellow and green.

A photograph of legend Bob Marley’s childhood bedroom in his mother’s tiny house at Nine Mile, St. Ann’s parish, Jamaica. A narrow iron bed is colorfully dressed in florals, a distinctive image of Bob, and throw pillows that say “God Bless This House” and “Please do not sit on the ‘Legends’ bed. Another depiction of The Legend hangs above the bed, and on a bedside table lived a portrait of his mother Cedella Barker. Tribute notes are left there, I left one for my recently departed friend Cindy Battles. When I focused on the bowl after leaving the emotional message, and a single pearl, then their shared initials of C.B. struck me profoundly.
