#Elegoo #centauricarbon printer arrived last weekend. Ordered some PETG that is something other than black. Youngest picked out a couple of toys. Oldest found some useful gadgets for music and a fidget device. Not a bad setup for $300. Goal: Get at least one of the kids interested in building their own models.

To those of you who own an #Elegoo #centauricarbon : Does your machine record videos?
Because, at the moment, mine doesn't no matter whether I've used #orcaslicer or #elegooslicer to slice the print.

Oh I am over the moon.
My Elegoo Centauri Carbon shipped a whole month early, and I started printing within an hour of its arrival.
The speed! Goddamn my OG Ender 3 only wishes it could do that out of the box.
I'm quite happy, as it fits PERFECTLY on my shelves too.

A $430 3D printer did this. This is wild, absolutely bonkers. Torso was printed using .04mm nozzle. The head was a .02 and... I am... Gobsmacked

So for @manueldejorge.bsky.social's Renamon, I think it came out well for a first successful attempt. I still need to dial in the settings, but it looks really good.

No stringing, the bottom of the prints are.... Eeeeh. But I think I'll have fun post processing this. Especially DAT ASS.

OK, I have my #Elegoo #CentauriCarbon settled in and working nicely now. Time to step things up a notch and have it and my #Neptune4Plus going at the same time. Just gotta be sure to get them plugged into different outlets.
