Did you know: Tailisup and other shadow dragons like him actually have 3 different eye colours? They each represent their current state of mind!
Yellow: neutral. Calm.
Lavender/Purple: various states of arousal
Red: Anger, rage, fury.
Most wild shadow dragons eyes are red as they have lost control of themselves and only desire to kill and feast on the blood of their victims. Reasons for this I can explain in a different post, if enough interest sparks.
