Beim Spaziergang haben wir eine Damenbrille in #clausthalzellerfeld bei den Oberen Eschenbacher Teichen gefunden. In der kommenden Woche wird sie ins Fundbüro gebracht - ich gehe nicht davon aus das sich hier jemand meldet bei den 20 #Clausthaler Mastodon Nutzern, aber versuchen mag ich es doch :)

Haben heute die neue Bücherbox bei der Einfahrt zum Ferienpark Waldseebad in #clausthalzellerfeld befüllt. Es werden da noch mehr Sachen reinkommen - natürlich dürfen auch andere dort Bücher reinstellen oder rausnehmen.

Our next #DryJanuary option is another from #clausthaler. This time, it's their Dry-Hopped IPA.
Out of the can, poured straight down, IPA produces a strong amount of off-white head, resting on a hazy pool of gold. Receding, there remains a ridgeline of lacing within the glass.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover notes of malted grains, a slight bit of grapefruit citrus, and maybe some floral. Sipping, we recover an overall sparkling character carrying the malted grains throughout, with some noticeable hop bitterness. Overall, as expected, IPA has a mild mouthfeel, no noticeable alcoholic warmth (duh), and a lingering cloying character.
Overall, one shouldn't expect this to taste exactly like an IPA. Instead, consider this non-alcoholic as an alternative to that one more beer or if you want to cut back.

For our first review in #DryJanuary, we start with #clausthaler's ISO. At 0.0% ABV, ISO clearly doesn't taste like an NA beer. Well, not 100%! Instead, we can glean from our experience something akin to a pale lager with the alcohol removed. If this is your first #ZeroAlcohol beverage, then it might be a bit jarring at first. Also, despite having 0 alcohol, a 11.2 fluid ounce can will your New Year Resolution back by 105.6 calories.

Out of the can, ISO produces a hefty amount of off-white head, resting on a pool of clear gold. Swirling and sniffing, we recover some earthy notes, but overall a strong malted aroma.
Sipping, you get a tiny bit of bitterness, but overall the malted barley steals the show.
Overall, ISO has a mild to medium mouthfeel, no alcoholic warmth, and a bit of cloying on the palate.
Consider this an alternative to water, if you're looking to recover some calories. Or just enjoy one, as an alternative to "one more beer".

#Henninger war übrigens das erste deutsche #Dosenbier - deren Getreidesilo ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt #Frankfurt. Die Brauerei #Clausthaler hat man damals nur übernommen, um einen pfiffigen Markennamen für das erste alkoholfreie #Bier zu haben. Die Brauerei hat man, wie viele andere, umgehend dichtgemacht.
Mit der Übernahme von Henninger durch #Binding war die letzte Schlacht um die hessischen Kehlen entschieden. Der Turm fiel. Und es sollte die größte und letzte Übernahme der Geschichte bleiben.
