The diagram helps clinicans make decisions based ib assesslebt of adiposity and clinical obesity.Diagnostic model of clinical obesity: If the person has elevated body wiehgt or BMI, one needs to confirm the presence of abnormal fat mass (either by anthropometric measurement or direct body fat measurement). If there is no AFM, there is no obesity. if there is AFM; then there is obesity. If there is obesity-related organ dysfunction, limitations of daily activities or both, there is clinical obesity. If not, it is labeled as "preclinical obesity)
