This morning's adventure is getting up early (but not *too* early) to fly from PRG to EDI for #Conpulsion! I only managed a brief visit last year, so very much looking forward to spending the full weekend.

It wouldn't be a proper #conpulsion if my team didn't win the pub quiz.

Flying visit to Edinburgh completely worth it. Saw a bunch of lovely people, helped raise over £3000 in aid of the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre at #Conpulsion and got to celebrate a dear friend's 50th birthday. Good day!

So I've run three games of car wars so far today. Some races, some duels, all fun. My voice is feeling a bit strained but it's been fun.
Exploding barrels have been fun, if they are destroyed you roll a blue dice, on a damage symbol any car in 1 car length loses a control.

My normal starting point for a trip to #Conpulsion isn't Glasgow, but we live in strange times! Off I travel east, to visit the con I love so well!

Picked up some nice dice at #Conpulsion from @hangingbatdice@instagram. Blue and sparkly, mmm. Taking a picture in direct sunlight helps of course. Oh, and they choose to make their d4s square because the sharp corners on a standard d4 would be so damaging (from experience, they say).

Waiting on the train to head into Edinburgh for another #Conpulsion. Coming up for 30 years of me going to it (although it was called Big Con in 94).
I've missed a few but been to a lot more, looking forward to a day seeing friends and demoing #CarWars in the wonderfully baroque Teviot Row Union.

Should probably mention I'm in Edinburgh for #Conpulsion the gaming convention I was organiser off for 3 years. First time back since the before time, hoping to see a few familiar faces. Will be arriving weirdly early, given my flights. Maybe I can help with set up?

In the ongoing "this weekend may be cursed" story for a group of us, my flight this evening has been cancelled, rebooked for tomorrow. I guess I'm a bit like JUICE in that regard? Will still make most of the #Glasgow2024 Staff Weekend and my brief appearance at #Conpulsion!
