#Countingstones

2025-06-29
I watched an #Arte documentation about the evolution of #numbers yesterday. The only fact that my brain woke up with this morning was that humanity created numbers 6000 years before #writing.
I didn't believe I remembered that correctly, especially because the oldest writings we found are also well over 3000 years old.

So I went and asked the internet about #CountingStones, and all it told me was the age of the Rolling Stones 🤦
In the end I found an answer because I asked again in German, and there is no band called Zählsteine.
