The city of #Cullman Alabama has kicked off a social media "Look at our charming Christmas town!" campaign, in an attempt to draw tourism.

Y'all, Cullman is (arguably) Bama's most notorious #SundownTown. Don't go there.

I went out this afternoon headed for #Birnbeck. I got there, parked up and got my gear - a camera /lens I got last week, so still familiarising with them, a #Grolshupp GCS1810 monopod and #Cullman ball & socket. Spots of rain fell!

I took a couple of shots of the old #pier - as the sky darkened, #lightening discharged and #thunder boomed. Then the rain deluged down and I found a tiny place I could, just about, cover under.
