Manchester Monday 4 3rd February 2025.

OK-BYV, Ilyushin Il-62MF, Czech Government Flying Service, being pushed back from it's gate at Manchester Airport, 9th June 1996, as seen from the top of the Terminal 1 car park.
This plane was bringing in fans for a football match between Germany and the Czech Republic at Old Trafford during the European Championships.

UR-GAB, Boeing 737-4Y0, Air Ukraine International, at Amsterdam Schipol, either 1993 or 1996.

 

G-UKLJ, Airbus A320-212, Leisure International, parked on it’s gate at Manchester Airport while I was waiting for a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt from the next gate.
Amongst the planes in the background, there appears to be the tip of a British Airways Concorde’s tail.
