DC Studios busca atriz para papel misterioso em “Homem do Amanhã”, alimentando rumores sobre a Mulher-Maravilha

A DC Studios iniciou a seleção de elenco para um papel feminino importante em “O Homem do Amanhã” (Man of Tomorrow), próxima produção do núcleo do Superman escrita e dirigida por James Gunn, e a descrição da personagem reacendeu as especulações sobre a estreia da Mulher-Maravilha no novo filme.

Segundo o Nexus Point News, a equipe de casting procura uma atriz na faixa dos 20 anos, alta, com físico forte e presença de “guerreira”, além de um “ar de rebeldia”. Os detalhes rapidamente chamaram a atenção dos fãs, já que se alinham diretamente ao perfil tradicional de Diana Prince embora o estúdio não tenha confirmado a identidade da personagem.

Outras possibilidades consideradas incluem Grande Barda e Canário Negro, embora a exigência específica de altura tenha fortalecido a teoria de que se trata da Mulher-Maravilha. O insider DanielRPK também relatou que a personagem terá papel significativo na narrativa.

A eventual aparição de Diana faria sentido dentro dos planos do DC Studios: seu filme solo está em desenvolvimento acelerado, com roteiro de Ana Nogueira, também responsável por “Supergirl“, que estreia em junho de 2026. Além disso, a série prelúdio “Paradise Lost” segue em desenvolvimento, expandindo o lado amazona do novo DCU.

Se confirmada, a introdução da Mulher-Maravilha no longa serviria como um passo estratégico para consolidar os pilares centrais do novo DCU (ao lado de Superman, Supergirl e Batman) como já havia sido enfatizado pelo atual CEO da Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav.

Criada por William Moulton Marston e H.G. Peter, a Mulher-Maravilha estreou em All-Star Comics #8 (1941) e já foi interpretada em live-action por Cathy Lee Crosby, Lynda Carter, Adrianne Palicki e Gal Gadot.

“O Homem do Amanhã” (Man of Tomorrow) está sendo descrito por Gunn não como uma sequência direta de Superman, mas como o próximo capítulo da chamada “Saga Superman”. O longa trará o retorno de David Corenswet como Clark Kent/Superman e Nicholas Hoult como Lex Luthor, que se veem obrigados a unir forças para enfrentar Brainiac, cuja presença foi recentemente confirmada pelo TheWrap.

O filme também contará com Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Isabela Merced (Kendra Saunders/Mulher-Gavião) e Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.), além de participações já especuladas de personagens como Supergirl (Milly Alcock), Lobo (Jason Momoa) e Christopher Smith (John Cena). Há ainda rumores da aparição de John Stewart (interpretado por Aaron Pierre) que vai aparecer  na série “Lanternas“.
