I have an #unusual #name that is a bit hard to pronounce. It’s a name that reflects my Christian #cultural #heritage and it’s important to me.

This is a tough time of year because everyone calls me “Chanukah” as a joke and laughs as if it’s hilarious.

This happens in professional settings as well and I worry about suffering #professional #consequences if I correct them or tell them that’s not my name.

Most of our office’s employees are remote, and at this dark time of year we like to share the spirit of the season.

One of our employees made us a cool teleconference backdrop showing a #holiday #candelabra and the company logo, encouraging everyone to use this background during our teleconferences during this festive time.

The backdrop was shared with our entire division as a fun team building activity.
