Great night on Friday getting back out to see some metal live. The support acts were a mixed bag, as you'd expect, but all interesting.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed DisKust and the metalcore / deathcore sides of their live show. Such an intense and interesting performance, and breakdowns to savour.
Apparently they are known for a mix of metalcore and nu-metal influences (but nu-metal mostly passed me by when it was a thing, so that part is pretty new to me).
DisKust go much harder live than their songs online, but here's a taste:
