One big miscalculation that makes me pessimistic: China has Russia's back.
They try to hide it, for now, but, as they are stopping providing drone parts to Ukraine and are ramping up doing it for Russia, as well as other military supplies, this is becoming gradually more obvious.

The reason China is hiding it is: to keep Trump on Russia's side (which would become implausible if China was overtly Putin's military ally in the ongoing war, because of Trump's aversion for China).

Sorry for the negative tone. I really want democracies to win, am on the side of Ukraine, and I do think they will win, however it is absolutely crucial to not underestimate the enemy(ies) camp.

I'm quite depressed about Poland coming elections.
It has an extremely powerful army, and is a cornerstone of the resistance to Russia's threat.
If it was to turn far-right (which is very likely), that would have tremendous consequences for the security of all European countries.

It looks like the vote of young people was determinant in this rightwards turn. That shows again how much the youth is manipulated, and the importance to train and educate them properly to use their brain and develop critical thinking, instead of just gulping down any kind of shiny propaganda on social networks.

What everybody is missing, when China says it "supports territorial integrity of all nations", is that for China Ukraine is a part of Russia, therefore they support Russia special military operation to keep control on it.
