Hello Mastodonia! It occured to me recently that the fediverse is part of what David C Korton and Joanna Macy called #TheGreatTurning where human populations and advancing technologies have been concentrating power into individuals and nation states at the expense to the environment and communities. #TheGreatTurning is the movement away from these destructive systems and towards an #EarthCommunity. Mastodon appears to me to be a part of this. I would love to hear from those who are interested..
