Is anyone here playing #Arknights #Endfield? I am considering streaming it.

If you have played, should I stream from the very beginning of the game when I start, or get the tutorial stuff out of the way? AK has a lot of talking and I am unsure I am up to reading all that at the moment.

Also, who are your favorite operators? My mains included Saria, Typhon, Eyja, Gavial the Invincible, Myrt, Goldenglow, Ho'olheyak, Ines, Blemishine.

Побегал тут в Arknights Endfield.

Сначала показали Эндминистратора максимального уровня, провели через какие-то руины, а потом выбросили. Классика, короче.

По сути есть открытый мир с телепортами, как в Genshin Impact. Есть база с фабриками и прочими ништяками, как в Satisfactory примерно. Есть партия из 4 оперативников.

Бегаем по карте, открываем секреты, выполняем миссии, тираним местное население, флору и фауну. Даже нашёл какое-то подобие кулов, который аж 43 штуки надо собрать.

Есть уровни оперативников, есть уровни у оружия, артефактов пока не видел.

Прокачка идёт этапами, между которыми надо выполнять местный вариант "возвышения" за ресурсы. И так для всего.

У оперативников есть классы и стихии Искусства. Всё это тоже надо сочетать. Есть комбо.

Задумка интересная, но играть в это я не буду.

И да, я и тут выбрал девочку. :3

I enjoy a bit much Arknights so was keeping tabs with other project that Hypergryph was working and even making company outside of China to have full control over quality instead of relying on publisher as they did with Arknights global and Japan (Yostar is responsible for releases and translation).
So the new project is called Arknights: Endfield. Lore based on prior game but circumstances are... different. Just summ up big lore dump that is Arknights, if tower defence gacha based on one planet and their habitants. Arknights: Endfield is future of what people that somehow got out of their homeworld and traveled to another planet, though story resolves not on planet itself but on moon called Talos-2.
Time difference is so big so most of the Arknights story won't affect Endfield.

So game released today, it's an action rpg with open or semi open world. The first game that fit this bill and have same payment system, gacha, would be Genshin impact. Knowing bare minimum about Genshin can't say they are that much, gameplay have big difference but confusion that is premium shop and gacha for both weapon and character with potentials affecting both... Just to compare, Arknights potentials are so weak that you can live happy life with rare 6 star pot 1 same as other who have it at maximum potential.

This what leads to me writing this long post. While I was exploring world and have my own thoughts brewing about the length of all tutorials, on r/ak discord people talked a bit what happened on Reddit be it r/ak or r/Endfield. So people jumped in on first day if release and bought via PayPal different sets, pulls, reward track and etc.

As it's happened before with PayPal and some other game, Arknights:Endfield made PayPal system go crazy.
2 orders via PayPal become a big list of purchases. Something akin one person bought one pack, second person bought other they both got each other order which resulted in big mess up.

You wanted to order only 4.99 but you got all that Endfield shop offers instead and depleting your PayPal and bank CC as well.

Endfield was in long production, development was thorough and regardless of tutorial that xan be payed game on it own via amount and length. Game runs fine and twist on fighting and going around building factories and turrets to defend yourself. Combat is simplistic so you can play on phone but relying on you having characters amd weapons to mix and match.

So as bad news goes around rather fast, here explanation from someone who was enjoying world and being sad that he didn't pull 6 star as f2p.
