Over on the birbsite the RPMNautical account has just posted pictures and video of the "Battle of the #EgadiIslands Project" recovery yesterday of a 20th ancient warship ram.

The battle in question was fought between the #Roman and #Carthaginian fleets on March 10, 241 BC ( #FirstPunicWar ).
