As WWII breaks out, an aging Sigmund Freud debates the existence of God with C.S. Lewis.
Great cast and convincing production. But, though skillful, the script lacks narrative focus, contenting itself with an evocation of its characters, a trite theological lecture and disjointed subplots.

Watched Freud's Last Session, with Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode, on PBS last night. Really interesting discussion of theology, psychology, and the damage humans carry with them and inflict on others. Hopkins was particularly excellent as the dying, irascible Freud.

Freud's Last Session is worth seeing. I was worried that CS Lewis was going to come across like the "Christian Superhero" that most Evangelicals try to turn him into.
The film reminded me that he was just a nice human who had as many issues as the rest of us.
