now that i have a hotel room for #gally1 it's probably a good time buy tickets to the actual convention (tickets were bought probably 1 minute before this post was made)

every year i stress about getting a hotel room for Gally (the Doctor Who con) and every year i manage to snag one and every year i think i should probably do a brief write-up about my tips for doing so and every year i recall this too late to be helpful

the Fourth Wall was the topic of the #TARDISTalks I gave at #Gally1 this year. I was really proud of the talk and people seemed to like it, so I'll be adapting it into a video, so I can share it with a larger audience. But now I definitely wanna hold off until after Season 2, so I can revise it to talk about this guy (and whatever else goes on)

Very glad I gave myself the gift of the week after #gally1 off from the day-job, but I thoroughly underestimated just how much non-day-job work I had to do, so there won't be much "off" in this week... :/

So, we're at the "15 year old podcast run by a single person is being sunset, therefore #DoctorWho is dead" level of fearmongering, eh? good grief is it tiring listening to all the tabloids talking about Doctor Who being cancelled every single year.

Honestly, DrWho s03 announcement can't come soon enough just to shut every1 up.

Edit: Does anyone want to take a guess when the rags will start saying DrWho is cancelled because #gally1 is ending after 39 years of being run by a single person?
