So weird being at a Fur Patrol gig with no familiar faces in the crowd! Unless you count the one band member I'm loosely acquainted with (but don't think he recognised me with my mask on).

@lotographia & I are at a gig! French for Rabbits at Meow, accompanied by the Elliot Vaughan String Quartet. Lovely stuff. Will be their last show for a while, so it's nice to be here.

Dimly lit, atmospherically smoky stage, photographed from near the righthand end. String quartet members are seated at the other end with their sheet music on stands in front of them. Really loved The Human League show 💜 - it's not often I get to see classics of my youth performed by the original artists and even rarer that they make a real show of it. So many outfit changes! But also they sounded great. At least, Phil Oakey did - I think maybe the ladies didn't have quite enough volume? Anyway fab show. Fave tracks - Sound of the Crowd, The Lebanon, Love Action.

I'm at TSB Arena for the #KraftwerkWellington show. I haven't done any prep and am not what you'd call a fan - I think I only watched part of their set at a Big Day Out one year, and that was possibly mainly to get out of the sun 😁
Will be interesting to see how many songs I recognise!

At Meow for a gig. This is the opening act, a charming group making lovely harmonies called Octopus In Heels. Gorgeous sound. Bit sad that the people who chose to sit next to us talked almost the whole way through their set.
