Another Friday, another Camden #StreetsKitchen outreach. 90 portions of Chicken fried rice & bottles of water generously donated by the Hatton Gardens Crew. Veg soup and apple/ peach crumble and clothes from Maverick Humanity, huge stash of bread and sweet & savoury items from Wenzels Kentish Town and coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Glad snow's melting. But Severe Weather Emergency Protocol will be deactivated. In SWEP, councils should provide emergency accommodation for rough sleepers. I caledl Routes Off The Street (Camden's SWEP hotline) on Sunday for a young man - freezing night, temperature predicted to -6. No answer,, left a message, they never called me back. Next morning our outreach located the man, still on the street and gave him a tent. Felt so helpless. #GiveAShift #SolidarityNotCharity #Camden #SWEP
