Game 63: Chomper (1995) by Brandon Kuschnereit.
Gobble Man-like that spices things up with environmental hazards, teleporters and varying maze layouts.
It just has one huge problem: everything is huge. The game is incredibly zoomed in and the ghosts don't show up on the minimap so you have no idea where they are.
Chomper can sprint across empty spaces and gain extra speed by gobbling sneakers, but why would you want that if you can't see what you're running into?
Game 62: PCMAN (1987), by somebody.
Avoid the playing card symbols as the happy yellow ASCII soda can while gobbling up every dot.
A clone of Gobble Man (1982), also in ASCII, that introduces the maze and power pills that were later copied by Gobble Man (1992). Funny how these games end up inspiring each other.
The power pills mentioned earlier temporarily turns your enemies into food as well, so use those wisely to get out of tricky situations!
Game 11: Gobble Man (1992), by Alex Shah.
Spiritual successor to 1982's Gobble Man. This time you traverse a fully graphical maze as a hungry pie chart where you gobble up all the yellow dots while avoiding the four ghosts (Frankenstein, Sylvester, Genghis and Ray) that try to stop you.
Eating the big yellow dots turns the tables for a few seconds, allowing you to eat the ghosts for some extra score. Devouring the randomly appearing fruits scores you even more points!
