#Gubbins just informed me that "assled" is a word. Huh. It's the past tense of "assle" (1. to retreat, back (out of a situation or agreement); with ~out: to back down. 2. To move when in a sitting position. 3. To fool around, waste time; hence vbl n assling around.)
It appears to be a southern/midwestern US thing. Never heard it before.

I was playing #Gubbins just now & something odd happened. I was able to spell the word "goyim," which is a real word and not offensive, as far as I know. Usually, if you spell what the game doesn't think is a real word, it just won't give you any points.
But this time, when I highlighted the word to clear it, the game changed the word. It did this three times before I just accepted the last change. I'd never seen that before.
I wonder what's up with that. 🤔
