The 3rd and final day of the #HMC_CON2024 just started! After many engaging & insightful sessions and networking opportunities of the first 2 days, the conference will be rounded off today with several workshops on metadata topics.

At the end of day 2 #HMC_CON2024, we welcomed Sandra Geisler, junior professor from @RWTH, who gave an insightful keynote “FAIRly Intelligent - What LLMs Bring to the Research Data Management Table” on the challenges of FAIR RDM in large-scale projects & the potential of generative AI in this context.
Sören Lorenz, speaker of @helmholtz_hmc, rounded off this day with a recap of the first two successful conference days.
Today's parallel sessions on #metadata are dedicated to the topics of collaboration, data management, community, findability, ontology and workflow. A heartfelt thank you to all speakers, session chairs and participants of #HMC_CON2024 for making these sessions so valuable 🙏
Welcome to the 2nd day of #HMC_CON2024. To kick off the day, we had the honor of welcoming Ludwig Hülk as our Wake Up Keynote, who gave exciting insights into the development and application of metadata standards under the motto “A Glimpse into the Future of Metadata”.
The afternoon of the first day of #HMC_CON2024 was dedicated to an extensive poster session. Divided into a total of 3 sessions, the authors presented insightful content on a variety of metadata-relevant topics, such as "How to get (meta)data AI-ready", which was followed by many questions.
