Finally had the chance yesterday to take a picture of the new statue in the #HauntedMansion queue of the cymbal monkey. Love the nod to the plush that was in #HauntedMansionHoliday for a hot second back in the day. (Who remembers them and saw them in person? I won't ask who actually has one.) Had a chance to look at the newly-opened #MadameLeotasSomewhereBeyond store. They did an amazing job with the decor and details inside. The merchandise isn't much different than what's in Port Royal, the home of merchandise for #HauntedMansion . I'm surprised and annoyed that even in this new shop, they included merchandise for #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas . I get that #HauntedMansionHoliday is currently in progress, but there's plenty of that merchandise in the other store. #Disneyland /1
Yesterday, I got a chance to go through the newly open alternate exit for folks in wheelchairs. It's a really nice hallway with portraits, lighting changes and music. This is one of the lighting fixtures, in the changing light.
The new elevator to take you back down has a portrait of Sally in it, presumably because of the current #HauntedMansionHoliday overlay. I wonder who would be in there for the regular version of #HauntedMansion . #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas #Disneyland

So after being trapped in Madame Leota's room in #HauntedMansionHoliday last night for almost 20 minutes, the doombuggy finally started moving, and we got to the ballroom, and it stopped again. You could hear the groaning and annoyance from people in nearby buggies. At least for me this time, the stop was in front of the cool #gingerbreadhouse , so I got a cool picture. Video forthcoming. We weren't stuck there for nearly as long. #Disneyland

We went on #HauntedMansionHoliday last night and got to Madame Leota's room, and the doombuggy stopped. No biggie, it's happened before. And we sit there, and Leota counts down the cards, and announcements play asking if we're ready and we'll resume shortly and then an actual cast member comes on the mic to tell us to stay seated, blah blah. And this continues, and continues and continues. We were stopped there for almost 20 minutes. No idea why. Video forthcoming. #Disneyland
