I met my old friend Ihizahg (Perished, Bloodthorn, Ragnarok) at the Inferno festival this last weekend. Since it's quite a while since we last spoke I wasn't even aware of his new band Helvitnir. Their latest album Wolves of the Underworld released just about a month ago is well worth a listen. This is melodic black metal performed by solid musicians with a long history in the Norwegian scene.
