'Huizinga for the twenty‐first century' is my review article of the new edition of Johan Huizinga's Herfsttij der Middeleeuwen, and its new English translation Autumntide of the Middle Ages. I survey the reception history of Huizinga's book in English, review the new publications, and have some thoughts about the work's current relevance.
