Any #Windows experts out there? Since one of the Windows 11 updates earlier this year, whenever I double-click on a DVD drive, it tries to open #Isobuster. It is also the program highlighted in the right-click menu. Changing autoplay settings does nothing (indeed, there isn’t one specifically for this drive). And I can’t see (though I am no expert) any setting in Isobuster that “promotes” it to default status.

Currently I have #IsoBuster running in a Windows 7 VM on my #BitCurator workstation, but the size assigned to the VM is a limiting factor at the moment. I can open the .gi file and extract the contents, but I can only work with one disk at a time. Also it takes way more steps than I am interested in… :/ #digipres #DigitalForensics #fileformats
