I took in a marvelous exhibit of works by #Ukraine’s greatest living artist, #IvanMarchuk, at the #Kyiv History Museum. He’s known for a technique I liken to #fractals, with detail down to tiny scale. And layered in that is a kind of “string theory” sense, with different elements seeming to vibrate at different frequencies, but also there’s this delicacy, as if the work was carefully assembled out of bird bones. If you’re in Kyiv, definitely don’t miss it.
