Attempted a watercolour painting of Janelle Monae ... didn't do a great job of capturing a likeness, and I don't love the way the colours scanned in, but I'm pretty pleased with it just as a painting. I felt a bit more in control of the process this time. I liked getting back to using some polished ink linework again as well.
