I've happened upon a minor mystery in the files for #JediOutcast.

Within the botfiles folder of assets0.pk3, there are a few bot personalities who conspicuously don't appear in the game. The most notable and particularly odd ones are named Yumi, Shinya, and Kyo.

Yumi's has mention of an Ami as an emotional attachment. Apparently she loves Kyo, "but Kyo is a cold man incapable of love." Ami doesn't have a .jkb file. Yumi is the only one of the three with contextual chat lines, but they seem mostly generic, save for some moe ones like "^_^;;" and "x_x", or responding to an order with "Hai!"

I have no idea who these characters are. I've only been able to find a Reddit post asking about them in vain: https://www.reddit.com/r/questions/comments/1e077gx/where_are_these_names_from/

In the wake of #Andor, I've gone back to replay #StarWars Jedi Knight II: #JediOutcast. I miss Kyle Katarn, but Cassian's mission to infiltrate the Imperial facility feels a lot like the opening Kejim and Artus missions, right down to the industrial and brutalist design sensibilities.
