@rooftopjaxx ah ..this isn't the actual blind that's not working, just a similar one that was closer to hand. I don't think there's a spring mech in these.
It's very weird that the cord turns fine when I pull on the bottom of the blind to close it, but it feels completely stuck when I pull on the cord itself. No problem to open it using the cord. I'm generally fairly practical, but this has me bamboozled.

Never thought I'd see the day, but it seems my sound effects library / collection hit the 1TB limit. This mostly thanks to many extensive car sound recording libraries - these generally don't have much to optimize size for (very little fluff to delete), and so they now hog up well over half the space.
I recall starting with a 500GB drive some 10 years ago, now bumping up to 2TB. Should be good for next 10 years right? 😅 #Jinxed
