There remains an active area of fire on the north side of the river that requires a 2000ft hose lay to get to that area of fire however there is minimal threat to structures now per Incident Command.

The bulk of the fire has been knocked down w/ the exception of an area of active fire deep in the river bottom w/ water surrounding that portion per Incident Command. It is approximately 1 acre in heavy fuels per radio traffic.

An evacuation warning has been issued for Zone RIV-0182-B on Genasys. This zone can be viewed on the Watch Duty map & on the Genasys Evacuation Map.
The Wireless Emergency Alert was also issued & reads: Evacuation Warning due to a fire NORTH OF Jurupa AVE, EAST OF Crest Ave. WEST OF Van Buren BlVD. An evacuation warning means there is a potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave NOW.

A 2nd alarm response has been requested from Riverside City per Incident Command. 1 law enforcement copter will be assisting w/ bucket drops per radio traffic. This is now known as the Jurupa Fire per radio traffic.

The fire is well established w/ moderate rate of spread & will be bumping structures in the area of Bradford St per radio traffic.
