#LPSC2022 Paul Byrne presenting compelling morphological evidence that big tessera plateaux on Venus are same as ancient cratons on Earth.
Suggests subdction. Maybe Venus tesserae have deep crustal keel that got pushed around by mantle convection.

Old
Geologically mangled
Thick crust region
Some age gradients along edges as other terrains glommed on.

Maybe can study Earth cretins and compare/ contrast with Venus.
