Tonight I just finished reading "The Last Days of New Paris," by #ChinaMieville. Very surprising; I never thought I'd ever even START reading another book by Mieville, let alone finish it.

I've struggled with the work of this author, quite a bit. I started Perdido Street Station several times, never finished it once. I did finish "The Scar" and "Kraken," and was disappointed both times, though now I don't remember why.
